As stated on the cover: The Principle Message of Outliers is That we need to rethink the way re look at sucess. While we cant dole out our own oppurtunities we can control how hard we work and we can through study learn better techniques to understand and aply the factors that make up sucess.   To get this point across Gladwell uses information from a wide variety of fields and research. From the birth dates of all pro level athletes and the best new york lawyers to comparisons.

Also touched on are just how powerful cultural legacies can be over time. How things such as language structure, trade skills, work etchic, and social violence can advantage or disadvantage us in terms of finicial and athletic achievement.

1. Kill Ninjas- Probably one of the most important abilites of American Super heroes. We know what kinds of places ninjas come from dont we? Right. Sewers.
2. Slay Wolves- Animals with teeth. Nuff Said Amirite?

Okay Okay There arent really African American slaves in Sparta...well except for the one who manages to die within five minutes of the movies start. There were these people call Helots who can be thought as sort of state owned slaves who were then given out like income tax checks to individual Spartan landowners.

Still the best thing about the movie 300 is that it's not actually based on the battle of Thermopylae at all. No 300 is based on the greatest of all American Stories. The Myth  Story of the founding of America. Lets See...

Minorites in World Of Warcraft

...Yeah I admit I am a semi serious World Of Warcraft player. I have a few characters approaching 80 slowly and I've had max lv characters in the past.  So far I've found the end game to be pretty boring despite what people say. I spend some portion of time usually ganking in STV, Nagrand or Hillsbrad, but the majority of my time is spent responding to racist comments in trade channel.





Now I know I dont have to respond it would probably make more sense not to respond. I do though for a number of reasons the number one being because I'm bored and griefing racist white twelve year olds seems like a pretty good way to waste some valuable time. As times change we gotta change with em, 50 years ago it was marches and rallies, Nowadays it's 30 minute long discussions the guild channel that get my ranked reduced then get me kicked out. No matter as the fight goes on into the machine and now so have the freedom fighters .  This usually amounts to spamming chat channel with Malcolm X qoutes and cursing people out until I get a message from one of the guys in blue. If I'm really Mad though I can get this semi-leet guy I used to know who plays an ally warlock on the same server as me. Then It's just a matter of time before they wander off alone somewhere............









As A side note reading trade channel and barren chat is either a serious look into the mindset of a juvenille white male, or a serious look into the abyss of stupidity. Probably both.

Southpark: Medicinal Fried Chicken

Just caught this last night I think its from the new season. Is it just me or does cartoons like southpark and others pushing the issue more so than Celebrities and Politicians.

Im going to go head and stradle the fence here and say that I dont one to be to hasty got interests on both sides but man. You gotta figure what with the economy looking like dogshit theres a good little change that could be made from a little changing of the rules and theres a good lot of people that were promised something like change not to long ago. and if you follow that see.

Movie from Amsterdam: Waking Life

This is one movie that was nothing like I expected. As you see the visuals are kind of cartoony and trippy and shit. The plot is segmented in a manner similar to Linklaters other Slacker but now we have a recurring main character and narrative. There's a speech that about a hunned percent guranteed to make you want to go out and buy every existenliasm book you can get your hands on.
